BITMAIN – the world’s leading manufacturer of cryptocurrency mining servers under its brand name ANTMINER – announced an authorized order with CTCAP Group, a company that invests in, builds, and operates renewable energy projects in Europe. The order will increase CTCAP’s total hashrate output by an additional 165 PH/s, powered by BITMAIN’s latest hydro cooling servers, the ANTMINER S19 Hydro and S19 Pro Hyd., which utilize advanced hydro cooling technologies. The new facility is expected to go online on November 1, 2022, with another mining project to be developed by Q1 2023.
“We are excited to establish new mining centers using BITMAIN’s hydro cooling solutions. Adopting hydro cooling servers aligns with our company mission towards achieving zero emissions mining, along with the support of our long-time service partners in Iceland, using 100% renewable energy sources to power the facility,” said Dr. Arne Scheschonk, Managing Partner of CTCAP Group.
“BITMAIN supports CTCAP’s vision with our cutting-edge hydro cooling products. Hydro cooling miners represent a new era for mining, offering advanced computational power and diverse environmental flexibility for mining operations. We are thrilled about the new partnership and aim to create new opportunities together,” said Clark Du, BITMAIN Mining Division President.
